Ötisheim can be easily reached by car and/or with the well-established public transportation system via the regional hub Mühlacker (3 km), as well as the regional metropolis Pforzheim (15 km) or the cities of Karlsruhe (35 km) and Stuttgart (45 km). The federal highways 10 and 35 are only a few kilometers away, as are the highway exits „Pforzheim-Ost“ and „Pforzheim/Nord“ to A8 Karlsruhe / Stuttgart or „Bruchsal“ to A5 Karlsruhe / Frankfurt. Ötisheim is a train stop on the Stuttgart / Heidelberg line and is also a stop on the city rail system running every hour between Mühlacker and Bretten.
